Guarantee and Refund Policy
Health Guarantee
Disclaimer: We are NOT veterinarians. All of our methods and medicines are available to the public, either online or at a chain pet store.
Local Adoption: Any fish that you have adopted from The Betta Sanctuary LLC has a health guarantee attached to him/her. We are willing to treat your rescued betta fish for free for the remainder of the fish's life- just bring the fish. No need to bring any tank or accessories.
Out-of-State Health Guarantee: If you have had your betta shipped to you, then we will offer free health advice to any adoptee and provide a 30% off coupon to purchase medicine from our store.
The Betta Sanctuary LLC also guarantees that at any point in time, we will take your adopted fish back- no matter the reason.

Shipping/ Live Arrival Guarantee
Bettas are shipped out on Mondays only. They are shipped via USPS Priority (1-3 days) or Priority Express (1-2 days). The recommended shipping method is Priority Express. Owners must be present for the betta package drop-off.
If, for whatever reason, there is a DOA (dead on arrival), you will be provided a refund on the fish only. Unfortunately, we will be unable to refund the shipping costs.
Refund Policy
Adoption: No refund can be given after two week, but we will always be happy to take the fish back for whatever reason anytime without a refund.
Services: Betta Rehabilitation Service: If the fish passes away during the treatment, then we can provide up to a 75% refund depending on the time of stay, medicine(s) and methods used.
1-2 days: 75% refund
3-5 days: 50% refund
6-9 days: 25% refund
10+ days: no refund
Betta Rehabilitation Help and Advice: cannot be refunded
Products: Refunds can be given until 1 month of purchase date. 100% refund is available for unopened equipment- must still be sealed upon arrival back to The Betta Sanctuary LLC. 50% refund will be given if the product has been opened. Customer must pay for shipping and return label. Refund will be given once the product has arrived at our facility and the item has been inspected.
If the product is damaged on arrival to the customer, a picture must be given 24 hours within package arrival. The product must be returned upon the expense of The Betta Sanctuary LLC and a replacement will be given of the same item.
Payment Methods
**In-person adoptions or in-person betta rehabilitation are the only things that can be paid in person. Everything else must be paid prior to the service/adoption.**
